What sets me apart
My passion, love and fascination for art and culture began in my late twenties, when I met the art collector and museum director Rainer Hildebrandt. He introduced me to the art scene of what was then West Berlin and also appointed me to be assistant at the annual art auction of the Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie. I have also taken part in the Fluxus happening by the artist Wolf Vostell, including the 75 minute dé-coll/age Fluxus happening film The Breakfast of Leonardo da Vinci.
I delved further into this experience through private studies in contemporary and modern art at Christie’s in London and studies in cultural management in Berlin. In the early years of my career I was drawn to conceptual and media art. Then I entered the world of film.
For the past 25 years, I have actively and passionately worked on international projects for renowned cultural organisations and foundations that contribute to sustainable intercultural understanding.
Further training in “Rethinking leadership – women in management and leadership positions” at the University of Sciences in Potsdam and in Biographical Coaching at the Institute for Creative Development in Berlin sharpened my eye for holistic solutions.
I deepened my sense for the fine arts with a correspondence course in interior design and continue it in the design of advertising material and websites.
The diversity of cultural work, tolerance and intercultural competence distinguish me. I value harmonious cooperation at eye level, constructive team exchange and a respectful working atmosphere.
How I work
Today my passion lies in developing concepts for events and conferences, workshops and international exchange programmes to accompany and support creative talents in their careers.
I prefer to work with a team partner or in a team to benefit from the constructive exchange and collaborative thinking, which is an enrichment to any programme or concept.
I see long-term projects as an ongoing process that is accompanied by evaluation and vision.
I am particularly familiar with film culture because of my previous work experience. But I am also quick to adapt to other culture sections and new areas.
Working creatively in an international context and being involved in meaningful projects are crucial to me.
I am used to working independently and rely on my quick comprehension, conceptual, analytical and solution-oriented approach.
For successful implementation, my work style is accompanied by an aesthetic approach and high professional standards.
